Recruitment of Constables (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB, 2011
The Commission will make recruitment to 49,080 posts of Constable (GD) in the Border Security Force(BSF), Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
1. Constable (General Duty – GD) – Male : 42537 posts in various states (BSF-13477, CISF-12120, CRPF-9508, SSB-7432), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000, Age : 18-23 years as on 01/08/2011, Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School
2. Constable (General Duty – GD) – Female : 1257 posts in various states (BSF-240, CISF-880, CRPF-137), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000, Age : 18-23 years as on 01/08/2011, Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School
3. Constable (General Duty – GD) – Male/ Female in Border Districts : 5286 posts in various states (BSF Male -3369, BSF Female – 60, SSB- 1857), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000, Age : 18-23 years as on 01/08/2011, Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School
FEE: Rs.50.00 payable through CRF Stamp or SBI Challan or online payment through account with the State Bank of India. Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.
How to Apply :
Candidate must submit the application to the concerned Regional Office of the Commission under whose jurisdiction the Centre selected by him/ her falls. Applications received in other Regional Offices will be summarily rejected.
CLOSING DATE: 04/03/2011. For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad 11/03/2011.
